DCSO Star Talk

Thank you for listening to the Durham County Sheriff's Office podcast \"Star Talk\". Come back and hear from Sheriff Clarence F. Birkhead, DCSO staff, and community leaders about the operations and services provided by the DCSO to the Durham County Community.

From our Patrol Unit to our Criminal Investigations Division, the Sheriff's Office operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year. Nearly 500 sworn and civilian employees work as a team to run the agency, operate the Durham County Detention Facility, provide courthouse security, monitor registered sex offenders, conduct search and recovery missions, respond to hazardous incidents, and serve criminal warrants and numerous civil documents mandated by State law.
